At King Edward VI Northfield School for Girls, our overall aims are to equip our pupils with the essential life skills they need to thrive in the real world and to promote a love for mathematics. We believe that every pupil deserves a creative and ambitious curriculum where they are given the opportunity to become fluent mathematicians who can solve problems, reason, and make connections across the subject and wider curriculum. We encourage a language-rich environment where pupils feel confident to talk about, do and apply maths to a wide range of scenarios.

Our curriculum is designed to ensure that all pupils can be successful in maths, no matter their ability. It is challenging, connected, and accessible to all pupils from year 7 through to year 11, covering all content of the National Curriculum.
