Our Year 11 leavers made huge progress from their mock exams at Christmas to the final summer exams, demonstrating the commitment and work ethic which is a hallmark of our school.
Over 70% of our leavers achieved at least a ‘standard pass’ (Grade 4 or better) in Maths, and over 50% achieved at least a Grade 5, representing some of the best Maths results we have seen. English once again delivered tremendous results as over 73% of leavers attained a Grade 4+.
Great Results in Key Subjects
History, French, Sport, Dance, Graphics, Health and Social Care, RE and other subjects achieved wonderful results once again. In their Graphics GCSE, for example, over 86% of leavers achieved a Grade 4!
In the incredibly challenging French GCSE, almost 65% of leavers achieved at least a Grade 4+ and 45% achieved a Grade 5+.
A Fond Farewell
Whilst our leavers have all gone onto to Colleges, Apprenticeships and 6th Forms, we wish them every success in the future and were really pleased that they have all joined our Alumni Society, so we can share in their triumphs in the years ahead.
A ‘Thank You’ to our teachers
The hard work of the students was matched by the dedication and commitment of their teachers, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our teachers for what they have enabled our leavers to achieve. Without everything you do we would not have been able to build upon growing success of our school.
