Within Humanities there are a wide range of opportunities available for pupils to learn both inside and outside of the classroom.
This faculty consists of the Geography, History, RE, French and PSE/Careers departments. Lessons are taught by subject specialists as separate subjects.
Geography, History, RE and French are available as full GCSE subjects in KS4.
History and Geography each have 3 lessons a fortnight in the timetable and French has 4. RE and PSHE have 1 hour a week.
Residential trips are available with the French Department, to Normandy and with the History Department, to Battlefields in France and Belgium. There are also field visits with Geography. External theatre groups come in to work with PSHE.
