2025 Results Headlines

Our 2025 results have seen our pupils achieve this school’s best ever results.  And we expect these results will improve even further as a number of remarks have been submitted.  Some highlights include:

Great attainment across subjects:

  • 20 out of 21 subjects saw results improve from 2024.
  • 74.5% of pupils secured a Grade 4 or better in Maths and 75.9% secured a grade 4 or better in English.
  • Across subjects the percentage of Grade 4 or better is remarkable (French 89.2%, Geography 80.6%, Art 76.7%, Food Science 64.9%, Graphics 100%, Textiles 75%, Health and Social Care 94.2%, Dance 100%, Sport 85.7%, Science 77.5%, Computer Science 70%)
  • 66% of our pupils achieved five of more grade 4+ or more including English and Maths (up from 53.1% in 2024).

More Pupils achieving higher grades than ever:

  • 42% of our pupils achieved five grade 5+ including English and Maths (up from 36.6% in 2024).
  • 54.4% of pupils achieved a 5+ in the Sciences, 60% in Computing, 62.9% in Geography, 63.3% in Art,94.1% in Graphics.

Impressive Key Headlines

  • Our Attainment 8 Score (how well pupils achieved across subjects) rose to 45.8.
  • Every single area of Attainment 8 (English, Maths, Ebacc and Open) achieved a higher score than in previous years.

Disadvantaged pupils attain great outcomes

  • Our disadvantaged pupils achieved an Attainment 8 score of 40.9
  • The gap between our disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged is significantly smaller than national (10.1 vs 15.4).
  • 58.3% of our disadvantaged learners gain 4+ in English and Maths (up from 37.5% in 2024).

These results are testament to the hard work and commitment shown by our pupils, the support and encouragement of families and the dedication of our teachers.  We look ahead to 2026 with considerable confidence of even greater success.
