Mrs Debbie Dudt

Debbie is Head Teacher at Cofton Primary School, one of the primary feeder schools to TGGS. She has taught at Cofton for 19 years, having first arrived as EYFS/KS1 Leader, progressing to Assistant Head Teacher, then Deputy Head Teacher and now Head Teacher. She has taught for 31 years altogether – from Nursery to Year 6 – so has a thorough understanding of Early Years and Primary Education. Overall, she considers herself to be incredibly privileged to work with children – something she is still very passionate about after these many years! Transition from Year 6 to secondary school is also an area she has great interest in – she believes this needs to be as seamless as possible to ensure the best start to secondary education.

In the little spare time she has, she enjoys walking with her husband and their dog, Watson, throughout the countryside and hills of the Midlands. She also has a passion for music and theatre and attends concerts and performances whenever she can. Her other love is History, especially visiting historical sites where History is really brought to life!
